Your best target are international companies with a location in Germany. Their staff is used to contact colleagues from other countries. They are used to work and communicate in English.

But, you have to learn German. Because of two reasons:
- To really enjoy the experience of living in Germany.
- To have any possibility of promotion in your job. (No German proficiency, no career.)

As a software developer, you will find the most start ups in Berlin, but also other cities might have companies where you could apply. Laura Vonka already gave good hints. Additionally you could try to apply directly at companies which seem to have a global focus in Germany. In each case I recomment to start learning German now.

Regarding Headhunters: I am subcribed to xing.com which is a German equivalent to linkedIn. If you have an interesting profile chances are high that some headhunters might contact you directely. I get messages several times per month.

I worked in Germany for 6 months many years ago and it was surprisingly easy getting a job where people speak English. Most Germans can speak very good English, and to be honest you will find yourself picking up little bits of the language very quickly, so you will find it eady to converse.

If you are someone who would like to stay in her own state/city, then you should look up your states english daily or regional newspapers they always have ads. on schools wanting english teachers. And if you want a central govt. job, then you have to apply when there is vacancy in KVS or NVS. The other school being Army public school, which has two exams for PGT teachers in a year. Hi, the best thing to do is think about what is important to you first. As you are inexperienced at the moment, you may not be able to get the higher paying jobs. If you look for a reputable company, you can spend a year gaining this experience and getting a real feel for China. After your first year, in most companies you will have the opportunity to renew your contract. From there, you can make a more informed decision being another year wiser on teaching and China in general.

Tutoring experience isn’t usually recognized by the Chinese visa authorities, but 2 years of full time post graduate work experience is valued depending on the city or province that you are applying to work in.

The last thing is, make sure that you will be hired on a legitimate working visa. Companies that offer to support you on a tourist visa, student visa or business visa for that matter could be putting you at risk of working illegally. This could result in deportation. The Z visa is the one that my company recommends and this will allow you to secure your residence permit for the first year of your contract.
